so much fun!

Noah found a fun new game this morning! He moved all of his stuffed animals from a bin into this laundry basket, and back and forth a few times. Then, he figured he could have even more fun if he got into the laundry basket too! He played in the laundry basket for almost an hour! We got a big kick out of it!

One of Noah's favorite toys lately is a cool wooden "Noah's Ark" that we got him for Christmas. He asks to play with it all the time! Unfortunately, it doesn't look at though all the animals will be mating, as we've already lost a few. Good thing gathering two of each animal wasn't up to this Noah!

Julie was visiting en route to CSU, and Noah really wanted to share his ark animals with her, in fact, he wanted her to hold all of them!

Video of the Day!

Here's the video footage of Noah enjoying his laundry basket full of stuffed animals!

Mom's Hat

I blame Rob for this one... anyone that knows him knows that he's not often caught without his hat on. So now, if there's a hat laying around, Noah has to try to put it on. Snapped a few pix while he was trying on one of mine!

staycation...

Like I mentioned... I've been off since last Thursday, and we're enjoying lots of family time! Today we had an action-packed day visiting the Denver Children's Museum and the Denver Fire Museum (we're members, so that one was a quick, free, trip).
Noah loved the Children's Museum, and did a great job (for the most part) of playing with all the other kids!
Playing with some neat puzzles in the little kiddos area.

They have an old fire truck and fire safety display in the Children's Museum. Funny enough, it's an old engine 14, from the station Rob's at right now! Noah thought it was pretty cool to climb all over it, although he wasn't sure about the fake guy with the hose!

You can see 14's numbers on the top!

Climbing on the truck!

The wall of alphabet soup.

At the puppet theater!

Needless to say, he pretty much stayed on the move! He didn't spend too long at any one activity!

Our little artist did love the painting though!

Working on his masterpiece! I like the hand prints!

"It needs just a little something else..."

Noah and Mommy climbing on this crazy tree structure thing! There were neat tunnels and lots and lots of loud kids!

Daddy and Noah hoopin' it up!

Going in for a dunk!

Learning that cup-stacking thing!

Noah was a big fan of the train room!

Note the green paint on his chin!

Too bad I couldn't get him to keep the conductor hat on!

At the DFD fire museum! Climbing on another fire truck!

Wow... what a busy day! I think we all need to go home and take a nap!

mmmm....

I've been on vacation all week, so we've been enjoying some homemade breakfasts! On Monday, we had a souffle pancake with homemade berry syrup! Noah has really been into dipping his food lately, so he LOVED the syrup!

Yummy!

"Do I have something on my face?"

daddy day-care

We've had the pleasure of watching Noah's cousin Steven once a week! Sometimes I get to be home too, but sometimes it's just Dad and the boys. Steven has to get up pretty early to make the commute from Aurora to Westminster, so he usually crashes on the couch for a while with Uncle Rob. Noah wanted to get in on the cuddle!

feel the burn!

Monkey see, monkey do! Noah is fascinated by Rob's makeshift home gym in the basement! He loves to go down there and watch Rob work out! This day, he decided he'd do a round of sit-ups too!

"Better secure my feet"

"and three... and four..." under the watchful eye of his trainer!

bucket head...

Grandma Haskell got Noah an awesome desk/easel that we keep in the office. He thinks it's pretty cool to have a desk by Mommy and Daddy's desk, and he still LOVES to color!

Noah has especially taken a liking to the bins that it came with to organize all of his supplies!

"Look Mom! It's a coloring helmet!"

"I use it to keep my head safe while I'm coloring!"

'toon time

Wouldn't be a day in the Davis house if Noah didn't have some sort of mark on his poor head! He managed to scratch himself (newborn style) while he slept!

Noah doesn't watch much tv, but when he does, he thinks it's super cool to sit, kneel, or sometimes even stand (and dance) on the coffee table. This is a habit that we are quickly trying to break, but thought we'd capture a quick photo before scolding!

our third christmas...

Just when you thought it was over... we celebrated Christmas a third time! Kathy, Rob's mom, and Jerry hosted another Christmas dinner on 12/27! Again, I wasn't great with the camera (the only photo I got was blurry). We really need a new camera battery! This one loses it's charge after just a few shots, so it really limits the picture taking!

Steven and Noah playing so nicely! Notice Noah's very cute little Christmas sweater. Rob was actually really jealous that one didn't come in his size as well! Next year maybe I'll plan ahead better for some matching outfits!

Noah dozing off to sleep thinking... "I could really get used to getting gifts everyday!"

merry christmas!

We hosted a combined Davis/Prucha Christmas this year, and I was so busy cooking, I barely took a single photo! Below is all we have on film.

Noah buzzing from one toy to the next (notice his really cool workbench from PoPo)! Needless to say, we all got spoiled this Christmas, especially Noah and Steven!

Not only does this photo illustrate the truly absurd amount of gifts under (or in the vicinity of) the tree, but it also clearly illustrates our need for a new Christmas tree next year! (It never looked so tiny in my little one bedroom apartment that I lived in when I bought it!)

Scoping out the new goodies!

Aunt Lauren, Uncle Chris and Steven got Noah some big, cool trucks to play with in the sandbox (when it warms up), and along with running around the house with it (watch your ankles), Noah also found that the dump truck makes a really nice seat! This was Christmas evening after everyone had left, and I was really getting a kick out of this.

early christmas at heather and john's

We had fun celebrating Christmas on 12/21 with Rob's cousin Heather, her husband John, Aunt Cheryl and Lauren (Chris and Steven were home sick). Thanks for hosting!

Noah got some puzzles, some Croc's (we all LOVE them!), and a magnadoodle from Aunt Cheryl!

Noah and I getting his new drawing lap table set up!

Heath and John got Noah an awesome little desk since they knew he's been really into drawing lately! He loves it! It has all sorts of little compartments for "organizing" his markers!

under new management... again?

Hi Everyone! Well, Rob has decided that after being in charge in 2008, it's time to turn the blog back over to me! We'll see how I do with my busy work schedule (did I mention that he only works 9 days a month?). I'll do my best to update more frequently! Let me catch you up to speed...
