Foot Fetish???

Today Noah was tickling his cheek with my fingers, and when I got up, I looked back, and he was rubbing his cheeks with his toes. Only got grosser when he rediscovered that he could put his toes into his mouth. Hasn't done that since he was about six months old! But, since we kept saying, "ewwww", and "gross!"... he got a big kick out of our reaction and continued to do it. Rob decided to encourage this gross behavior for just a few more minutes so he could get some photos!
My toes taste so yummy
Here's a video of my toe tasting in action...press play!
This last one has nothing to do with toes, but Noah climbed behind me and gave my hair a good tug, which he thought was hilarious! His smile is precious, but the hairs he had from my head in his hand were not as cute!

Chef Noah makes cookies!

Ice Cream Truck!

Yesterday we heard the ice cream truck in the neighborhood for the first time of the season. Not sure who was more excited (actually, I'm pretty sure it was Rob, since Noah had no idea what the ice cream truck was). He went running for his wallet and said, "Hurry, we don't want to miss it". So, with great fanfare, we all went running out to the street to get our cold treats! Noah was so excited and really enjoyed his cotton candy swirl popsicle!

Raining!

We've been having the most unusual Colorado weather lately. It's been overcast and raining on and off for the last three days. We've had some sunshine too, so it's actually been a nice change and is doing our new garden well! I'm wondering if Noah will want to relocate to the Pacific Northwest one day, because he has loved the rain!

Rob took this one to showcase our new hanging baskets I planted this week. We also have some new Adirondack chairs... Noah thinks that one of them is his, and doesn't like anyone but him to sit in it.

The other day we sat outside for about a half-hour and watched the lightning, smelled the rain, and listened for the thunder. The whole next day (even when it was sunny), he kept asking to go outside and saying "boom boom" because he wanted to hear the thunder!

He really wanted to go splash and play in the rain, so I reluctantly rolled up our pants and we left the haven of our wonderful covered porch for a few minutes. Then we both decided it was a little bit cold!
Having fun in the rain!
Soon we'll have two crazy little boys running around! Above is my 22.5 week baby bump! One of these days we'll take a better photo!

Flowers

Mommy's a sucker for any kind of flowers being on sale at the grocery store, and the last few weeks it's been tulips. Noah loves to smell the flowers and help pick them out at the store!

Movie Night

Noah doesn't usually sit still doing the same thing for more than maybe 10 minutes, but we decided to give "family movie night" a try! The huge bowl of popcorn helped capture his interest on the couch, although he was reluctant to share with Mom and Dad. We all watched Wall-E, and movie night was a success!

Finally, he decided he would share the popcorn (although I'd still venture to guess that he ate more of it than Rob or I), but only if he could take a piece in each hand and try to feed it to us at the same time.
No, his jammies don't match, but at least he has pants on!

Basement B-Ball

Shot of Noah's B-Ball Hoop. Noah really loves to rip up these floor tiles and throw them. 2 year old's are so much fun!

Big Wheel Time

One of Noah's cool new birthday gifts. Thanks Uncle Ron!
