To celebrate the "rice cereal" ordeal, Rob's dad and Grandma brought over the high chair that she got for us. It's really great, and he definetly has *plenty* of room to grow into it! Can't wait to try it out in the morning when we give the rice cereal a second go! Maybe he'll enjoy it more in his sleek new chair!

big day... rice cereal!!!
Today is the day we've been waiting for since Noah's 4-month check-up! We decided it would be a perfect day to start solid food (using the term "solid" loosely). Noah's new food group is RICE CEREAL! We got all the necessary supplies, got him all set up, and offered him this new delicacy. Overall I'd say he was less than thrilled. Although I can't say that I blame him given the smell of it and the fact that, out of the box, it looks like fake, department store snow. He took a few bites, wasn't sure what to do, and then he started screaming! Must be an aquired taste! Better luck tomorrow!
(Thanks for the great bib Carrie! We picked it just for this landmark event!)

Bath Time (8.22.07)
Not only do baths help Noah sleep better (an average of at least 2 more hours!), but he is finally starting to "get it" and likes to splash around in the water! He's getting so big! Check the bottom to compare to one of his first bath pix!
Puzzle time! (8.20.07)
Love this one...
I took Monday off to recover from our two weekends of parties! We had a wonderful, lazy day!
Noah's Baptism! (8.19.07)
Noah was baptized at Risen Savior Lutheran Church (where Rob and I were married), on Sunday. It was a really nice day, and we were so happy to have so many friends and family with us!
Here he goes... (He didn't cry, not one little peep! Everyone said, "Is he always this good!", you bet!)
With his wonderful God Parents, Erinn and Uncle Ron (now know as "The Godfather"!)
The gangs all here!
Family Photo!
(Noah wore a very swanky onesie that Rob wore *under* his big, fancy christening gown almost thirty years ago. It was a bit snug, as Rob was probably much younger, but it was nice for Noah to be able to wear something of Robs!)

Aunt Alice was kind enough to share her 50th birthday with Noah's baptism! (Another great cake from Gateaux!)
Goodnight moon... (8.15.07)
Noah has the most adorable new footy pajamas! I love them!
Goodnight kisses!
Yup, he's still sleeping with his arms straight up in the air!
Shower for little Stevie Stadler... (8.11.07)
Hooray, I'm going to be an auntie, and I can't wait!
Saturday, August 11, we threw a great shower for my sister-in-law, Lauren. Even though her and her hubby, Chris, are waiting to see if it's a boy or girl, I'm convinced it will be a boy! (Hence, the title of the blog... if I'm wrong, we'll happily welcome little Emma too!)
Lauren opening the basket of "must have items for the first 90 days" that I got for her, including all of Noah's tried and true favorites!
Rob and Lauren's mom, Kathy in the back with Aunt Cheryl, Heather, Lauren, and me (I must have forgotten that rule about horizontal stripes...eek!)

Rob brought Noah by the shower for a bit, and of course he was the hit of the party! This is him relaxing in dad's lap at home after the big day! (Rob wants me to clarify "at home" so that nobody thinks we are white trashy letting Noah roam around in just a diaper!).
Rolling...really! (7.27.07)
Rob likes to play little trick on me now that I'm back at work. You know, I'll come home after a long day, and he'll say something like, "Noah said 'Daddy' today". I'll reply, "Sure he did," and roll my eyes at him. So I get home on Friday (the 27th), after coming through a monsoon (I almost got swept away coming up Speer Blvd!), and Rob says, "Noah rolled over today!" "Sure," I say. "No, really," he says. So, after asking for the details again and again, I verified the information the next morning, when, during "naked time" in his crib (dr. says it's important to air out all his little bits from time to time), he rolled right over from his tummy to his back. I think it's early, he must be advanced! That's our boy!
4 Month Check-Up (8.16.07)
Noah's 4-Month check-up was on the 16th! It went really well! He weighs 14 pounds and 6 ounces, which puts him into the 45% (he was barely in the 10% when he was born). All that eating is paying off, he's catching up. He's a hair over 24 inches long, and his head has grown over an inch in 2 months (must be all those brains!!!). The doctor says he's doing great and expects to see him getting teeth pretty soon! He did need four more shots (ouch), which were probably worse for Mommy than Noah. Thanks to Grandma for coming along for moral support while Daddy was stuck at work!
Video... how cool!
How exciting, now we can do video! So, this is an old one (from my first day back at work in July, but it's my absolute favorite!), but it's soooo funny!
Enjoy!
Noah's New Toy! (7.29.07)
Noah has a new toy! Great Grandma and Grandpa Prucha got him a "Baby Einstein" Exersaucer type thing for my baby shower that Noah is finally (almost) big enough to use!
Notice how his feet don't touch! He loves it though, especially the round things that make all kinds of noises, and the animal noise buttons!
"Look Mom, no feet!!!"
I love this thing!
I'm still here!
It's been a while, I know... so I'm going to really update this blog (from the last month!). You'll have so much to look at! Life has been super hectic since returning to work, and it's hard to stay caught up. I'll try a little harder though! We've been very busy as you'll see!
