life of the party...

Today was Noah's first party! We headed over to the Jimmerson's to celebrate Lydia's 4th Birthday. (Can't believe that she's four!!!) Below are some pix from the party!

Jack with his new fire trucks. He loved to count them, except apparently he "hates the number 4" (says Erinn) and kept counting them "1, 2, 3, 5, 6" (There were only 5!)

Party Pooper!

Noah hates napping!

Noah has decided that he hates to nap, it's like a dirty word! I swear he cries when he hears it. We met with our new nanny today (hooray Jen!!), and she asked about his napping routine...ha! After I said that he didn't really have one, or care for napping, he decided to show off and fall asleep in her arms. But, once we were back to the car, the game was up, and he was wide awake. He did fall asleep for a brief period this afternoon (grand total: 19 minutes), and slept in his crib (yes, his crib!!!) for about 30 minutes... bringing the grand total of "day time sleep" to a whopping 1 hour and 3 1/2 minutes! Above is a photo of Noah taking a (very short) cat nap in his crib!

Noah and Daddy Time...

While I've been at work missing my boys, they're having a great time at home!!! They also take LOTS of pictures together! Here's a sampling from the last two weeks...

Rolly Poley...

Noah is trying so hard to role over! As Rob says, "It's funny and sad at the same time!" He gets over to his side, and can't figure out how to get all the way onto his tummy. I know he'll get it any day now!

Cuddles...

Mommy has to get lots of cuddles in! I'm trying really hard not to work too much... I miss my little boy!

Monkey Business...

I took a few cute photos of Noah in his "Monkey Business" T-shirt and cute little jeans, just lounging on the couch. It's amazing how fast he is growing!


This was on our last day together before I went back to work... Monday, July 9th.

Of course, I'm devestated to not be able to spend every single day with him, but I'm trying to look at it as an opportunity for him to have some great bonding time with his daddy and grandma (thanks Mom!).

So, we have a "blog"...

Hi All,
Never thought I would be so high-tech to have a blog! As usual, a great idea from Sarah! This way I won't have to send out my weekly e-mails of how adorable little Noah is, you can just check it at your leisure! I think I'm turning into one of "those moms"... you know the ones, they can't stop talking about their babies, showing pictures to everyone at work, etc. I'm sure my coworkers are probably getting sick of hearing about his every latest development already, but at least they fake being interested!

So, please enjoy these updates of our sweet little guy! I'll try my best to update at least once a week!
